Year One / Semester Two - Graphic Design II at SAA

A compilation of projects from SAA ! :)

This was my second Graphic Design class, it was a very...informative class. I learned a lot.

The first project we had was a book cover. There was an extensive list of 'do-not's, and I managed to find The Crucible to be 1) accepted & 2) actually interesting. Here's my take on that :) The legs are my lovely friend's, the fire was stock images I found.
Another redesigning logos project. I'm not complaining though, I love logo design.
I decided to make a logo for my hometown public pool, as I spent most of my life there haha.
A larger project we had to do was a seasonal branding campaign. My chosen store was Bath & Body Works, my chosen season was Spring. However, this project ended up going to a much more summery side of things. Below is about half of the project. Gift cards, Hanging Tags, Shopping bag, & In store signage. :)
Our final project was to redesign packaging for a product, and I chose pancake mix.
This project was very, very difficult for a multitude of reasons.

I love pancakes, and one problem I've always had is not knowing how much pancake mix you have left. I wanted to use a glass jar for this project, but I couldn't find any, so I ended up getting a giant coffee..jar?? And using my Xacto knife to cut a window on the side. There's also a very cleverly worded warning system with those arrows.
